The average winning margin for all five games in round 1 which is the smallest average margin for a round of fixtures that had five games (31 times overall) beating the previous lowest average margin of 12.4 points in round 7, 2019. The lowest average for a round where a minimum of four games have been played is five points in round 5, 1963 where the margins were 8, 4, 4 and 2 points. The 10-point average margin ranks as the 22nd lowest average for a margin where at least four games have been played in a row.
